What a superb time together! The 2026 CCF Summer Reception was an another significant moment, gathering around our shared values as Christian Conservatives, to celebrate and network.

Here is the itinerary for the CCF Summer Reception on Wednesday 15 July.

Please arrive at 6:45pm for speeches at 7pm with Kevin Hollinrake MP & Katie Lam MP. This will be followed by an opportunity to network or enjoy the World Cup semi final between England and Argentina.

We’re counting down the days to The CCF Summer reception on Wednesday which begins at 7pm.

We are also delighted that England have reached the World Cup semi-finals!

Following the speeches we will be showing the match live on a television screen in the corner of the room, with the volume kept low so that guests who wish to watch the match will be able to do so, while ensuring that it does not interrupt the enjoyment or conversations of those who prefer not to watch.

We very much look forward to welcoming you for what promises to be a wonderful evening, with the added excitement of supporting England together!

It’s been great to connect with CCF members and others at the ARC Conference this week.

CCF delegates leave encouraged, challenged and inspired by conversations exploring the future of our culture, communities and nations.

Across the conference, speakers reflected on the importance of recovering a hopeful vision for society, one that upholds the dignity of every human life, strengthens families and communities, and encourages citizens to take responsibility for the places where they live and serve.

The closing session, *The Better Story: How Do We Live? * offered a compelling reminder that decline is not inevitable. The call was not simply to critique culture, but to help build it - to invest in our families, strengthen our communities and work for the flourishing of our nation.

Thank you to everyone who has represented CCF throughout the conference. We pray that these conversations will bear fruit in lives of faithful service, wise leadership and renewed hope for the future.

CCF members are attending the The Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) in London this week, joining leaders, thinkers and practitioners from across the world to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing our societies.

The day began with prayer together as CCF delegates before heading into the main auditorium for the opening session, Our Civilisational Story, featuring Baroness Philippa Stroud, Konstantin Kisin, astronaut Victor Glover, sculptor Sabin Howard and Paul Marshall.

It was also very encouraging to hear from Kemi Badenoch this afternoon.

We’re looking forward to many more insightful conversations and thought-provoking sessions throughout the week.

Today, we acknowledge the resignation of Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the upcoming transition of leadership within the Labour Party. As we navigate this season of change, we pray for wisdom, stability, and good governance for our nation.

CCF Director Juliet Donoghue had the pleasure of attending a parliamentary reception last Wednesday as a guest of Martin Vickers MP, alongside the Albanian and Kosovar Ambassadors, to celebrate the pastoral visit of Cardinal Ernest Simoni Troshani to the Albanian Catholic community in the UK.

Cardinal Simoni, 98, spent 28 years imprisoned for his faith under Albania’s communist regime. It was an inspiring reception, filled with remarkable stories, and a privilege for the CCF to support the Albanian Catholic community here in the UK.
