1,000 schools are now making a difference in grief education!

Our schools programme, ‘Responding in the Moment’, helps any education staff gain the skills and confidence to support students through anticipatory grief and bereavement.

Recently refreshed, this free, CPD-accredited course helps education staff:

🔍 Identify and respond to anticipatory grief
⭐ Support grieving students with confidence
🤝 Respond effectively to behavioural changes linked to grief
♾️ Address complex needs, cultural inclusion, and neurodiverse support

We’re proud to announce a new partnership with TrinityBridge 🤝

The two-year partnership will help fund ‘No Conversation Too Tough’, our healthcare training programme, which equips cancer and palliative care professionals with the skills, knowledge and confidence to support parents facing an incurable cancer diagnosis.

TrinityBridge, experts in investment management and financial planning, are also proud to be announced as sponsors for our annual Long Room Dinner and RSF Golf Day, helping to raise awareness and vital funds for our work.

Last week we were in Porto for the European Grief Conference 🇵🇹

Alongside presenting research, the team heard some fascinating speakers and presentations, with themes including coproduction grief literacy, the financial and family implication of death admin, and the importance of storytelling in grief.

It was also a chance for our schools team to present: ‘Block by Block: Co-designing Children’s Cancer Literacy Using Minecraft Education.’
