Seven questions can determine whether a community programme becomes a moment or a movement.

At the Purposeful Tribe CIC strategic roundtable at Mansion House, Doncaster, civic leaders, practitioners, community representatives and partners examined what it will take to move The Village Circle™ from meaningful conversations to safe, consistent and measurable delivery.

The discussion focused on seven critical areas:

Trust
Reach
Safety
Consistency
Evidence beyond attendance

These questions are now shaping our next chapter: defined pilots, clear referral pathways, trained delivery teams, measurable outcomes and stronger partnerships across Doncaster and potentially South Yorkshire.

We believe lasting impact begins when communities are genuinely heard and continues when insight is converted into action.

A conversation should be a beginning, not an ending.

The Village Circle™ is built around a three layer framework that moves communities from listening to practical support and lasting local capacity.

Layer 1: Intergenerational Dialogue

We create trusted spaces where young people, parents, elders, professionals and institutions can listen, understand one another and identify what matters.

Layer 2: Mentoring and Life Navigation

Through our LISTEN, MAP, MATCH, NAVIGATE and MULTIPLY pathway, identified needs are connected to direction, guidance, opportunities and appropriate support.

Layer 3: Community Prevention Network

We equip trusted local people to recognise needs earlier, connect people to support sooner and respond together before challenges escalate.

The goal is not simply to hold conversations. It is to build a pathway that remains within the community.

Purposeful Tribe CIC welcomes conversations with councils, schools, youth organisations, faith communities, funders and other partners interested in strengthening young people, families and communities.

What happens when civic leaders, public health professionals, faith leaders, community organizations, and young people come together around one table?

On 11 August 2026, Purposeful Tribe CIC convened The Village Circle™ Strategic Round-table at Mansion House, Doncaster.

Representations from across South Yorkshire gathered to examine how trusted community conversations can lead to practical support, stronger belonging and earlier prevention.

The discussion went beyond general interest. Participants explored important questions about delivery capacity, safeguarding, referral pathways, community trust, youth engagement, evidence, sustainability and the potential for wider implementation.

One central question shaped the conversation:

What happens after the conversation?

The Village Circle™ responds through three interconnected layers.

The round-table marked an important milestone in moving the framework towards systematic implementation, evaluation and stronger cross-sector collaboration.
