We’re proud to support The Big Lunch and The Big Help Out taking place on 5-8 June 2026.

It’s one big do and everyone across the UK is invited to meet, eat and lend a hand locally, in the UK’s biggest celebration of community.

Millions are expected to join in, and you can be one of them!

Some will do picnics, some will do litter picks. Some will do food and fun, some will do getting things done.

🚪 The Big Door Knock starts soon!

From 29 July, we’ll be knocking on doors to listen, learn, and connect directly with residents about what matters most - repairs, anti-social behaviour, communication, and more.

👋 First stop: Ocean Estate
📍 Shandy Park, Harford Street, E1 4QJ
🕑 Tuesday 29 July, 2–5pm

Council officers will carry council ID and ask a few quick questions. If we knock and you feel comfortable, please take part - your views help us improve local services.

🎉 Plus, there’ll be a community fun day at Shandy Park from 2.30–6.30pm, with free activities for children, stalls, and a chance to meet council teams who help look after your estate.
