icandance is a creative, therapeutic community empowering disabled children and young people to share their lived experience through dance and performance, building confidence and belonging. icandance is a London based charity which offers dance and performance opportunitites to children and young people with varying disabilities, including wheelchair users. We are a creative, therapeutic community that caters for the needs of children, young people and their families with lived experience of disabilities. Join our Board of Trustees: Treasurer Vacancy 🧡

icandance is growing — and we're looking for a new Treasurer to help guide our financial strategy and strengthen our governance.

As Treasurer, you'll:
🔹 Oversee our financial health, controls and reporting
🔹 Chair the Finance Committee and report back to the Board
🔹 Guide us on budgeting, reserves and long-term sustainability
🔹 Ensure compliance with charity finance law and the SORP
🔹 Support decision-making on funding, grants and restricted funds
🔹 Liaise with our independent examiner on the annual accounts

We're looking for someone with a strong finance or accountancy background (charity sector experience a bonus), who can translate financial information clearly for a varied board — and who shares our passion for the arts, disability, wellbeing and inclusion.

Twenty years ago, Juliet Diener founded icandance with a simple, powerful belief: every child and young person deserves the right to dance, express themselves, and be heard.

Over the last two decades, our community has grown into something truly inspiring. We have discovered that what we do is so much more than dance. It is about a deep, unconditional sense of belonging.
