William Pretyman returned to Casa Jimmy with Lady Charlotte in July 2026. It was a very special moment to welcome him back.
William first visited Casa Jimmy in the early 2000s with Lady Charlotte, who was a Task Brasil trustee at the time.
During the pandemic, William published a book about his family and their historic home, Orwell Park, where his father was raided and lived.
Orwell Park later became a traditional English boarding school. By a wonderful coincidence, Orwell Park School sponsored Task Brasil Trust’s very first two beneficiaries, who spent 3 school terms there in 1995-1996.
Through his book, William has continued to support Casa Jimmy, generously encouraging donations to the project.
On this recent visit, the children were delighted to present their activities at Casa Jimmy to William and Lady Charlotte.
