We at New W**e were deeply saddened to hear that Eddie Lyle, former CEO of Open Doors, and one of life’s great warriors died this weekend.  

Eddie was a regular speaker across the New W**e Network up and down the country.  He always spoke with a deep warmth about such a challenging and difficult subject, and his invitational manner drew large numbers of us in to support this incredible work.  

Perhaps unknown to many was that Eddie also invested in leaders across this country encouraging them in their ministry whether it was leading a church or an organisation.  There are so many that have benefitted from his wisdom, grace and care. We pray for Christine and all of Eddie’s family in this difficult moment.
