ONE MONTH TO GO!

On Friday 25th September, a group of us will be taking on the challenge to climb over the O2.

This special event will raise vital funds for TTG's Beneficiary Grants Programme in 2026/27, supporting many Backstage & Front of House theatre staff through times of hardship. A charity worth going to great heights for!

You can support those taking part and help us raise as much as possible by donating here: www.justgiving.com/campaign/ttg-02climb

We’re delighted to welcome Lucie Warren (ASM) as a new TTG Ambassador, joining the TTG team this August.

We first met Lucie through their work as a Trustee with , and they were also the first recipient of TTG’s Caldicot Stage Management Training Bursary in 2025.

"Becoming a TTG Ambassador is a huge honour for me, bringing together my passion for advocacy and my commitment to the theatre community. TTG champions Backstage & Front of House professionals, offering vital resources and guidance. I hope to help share that message and contribute to a culture where asking for support is seen as a strength, and no-one feels they have to navigate the industry alone.”

As a professional ASM, Lucie has consistently demonstrated leadership, dynamic energy, compassion and a strong commitment to supporting others. We’re thrilled o have them join the team. ✨

Career Spotlight: Show Merchandisers 🎭

From programmes and posters to T-shirts and souvenirs, show merchandisers play an important role in the audience experience at the theatre. Working during intervals and after performances, they help audiences take home a lasting memory of their theatre visit while generating valuable revenue that supports the wider work of the theatre.

The role involves customer service, product knowledge, sales, stock management and creating a warm, welcoming experience. A big shout-out to all the brilliant show merchandisers across UK theatres! 👏
