We are a charity based organisation run by volunteers. Our goal is to help improve peoples mental health and wellbeing through canal cruises, and community.

We are a registered charity based organisation run by volunteers. Our goal is to help improve peoples mental health and wellbeing through canal cruises, and community. We provide a range of social and educational opportunities for people living/working in the London Borough of Camden and the surrounding area. The focus of these activities is centred around narrowboats and the canals. Tarporley is one of the few remaining traditional narrowboats left, our work with her is helping to keep canal history alive for its passengers as well as its future. Analogue Joy in a Digital Age

Join local weekly culture newsletter CAMDENIST aboard the historic community narrowboat Tarporley for an intimate panel discussion, Q&A, and some bubbles together afterwards.

A panel of Camden-based creatives and changemakers will discuss how today’s overbearing AI narratives are helping a quiet resurgence in everything analogue; from print magazines to hand-made fashion markets, cinema events to a thriving ecosystem of urban canal boat businesses. Expect unusual insights, grounded optimism and lively dialogue, all in a fantastic canalside setting.

It was a pleasure to meet the Mayor of Islington, Cllr Rosaline Ogunro, at the Angel Canal Festival yesterday and tell her about CCNA's mission.

The CCNA and Tarps are proud to be supporting this mission, helping people find the space to slow down, connect and experience London differently.

It's just over two weeks until you can visit us at Angel Fest for the 40th anniversary of the celebration!

You'll have permission to come aboard Tarps, as well as experiencing the live music, food, drink, boat trips and more that the festival has to offer.

Angel Fest is running from 11-4 on Sunday 6th September. See you there!
