LACCS-United Kingdom and LACCS-WORLDWIDE contributed and participated in the 247th Anniversary of the Birth of General Bernardo O'Higgins Riquelme, and a the wreath laying ceremony at O'Higgins Square, bridge Street, Richmond-un-Thames, TW9 1TQ. Young Bernardo O'Higgins Riquelme lives and studied in a Catholic School nearly for two years in Richmond at the end of the 18th century. He met General Francisco de Miranda in London where he lives in Miranda's house for a short time. Young Bernardo became one of the most enthusiast disciple of this visionary Military and supported of the Hispano-American Independence.

In my journey to Southeast Asia, I travel to Indochina, visiting North and South of Vietnam, one of my greatest intelllectual experience was to have met poet and composer Van Cao, who in get out of hius bed to have with me a long and friendly conversation about his poems and music. It was a unique human experience!
