Syria Solidarity Campaign The main purpose of the Syria Solidarity Campaign is to amplify the voices of Syrians struggling for peace and freedom.

The Syria Solidarity Campaign (SSC) is based in the UK and includes a network of activists and supporters committed to solidarity with the Syrian Revolution. We want to work with all existing campaigns and organisations to help build a campaign that can assist the Syrian people in their struggle for a democratic, just, free and pluralist Syria. In addition, we want to bring Syria’s war criminals t

o justice. We support the popular revolution in Syria and its principles. We ask for real support for the Syrian people. We oppose all support for the Assad regime, which is unjustifiable in light of its war crimes. We are critical of the parties who provide political and material support to the Assad regime, and of those that have abandoned the Syrian people and the revolution. We support the right of Syrians to defend themselves from the regime of Assad, its allies, and from ISIS. We demand the immediate withdrawal of all foreign occupation forces. We call for the protection of civilians all across Syria in accordance with the Geneva Convention. We support the unconditional right of Syrian refugees to come to Britain and Europe, humanitarian relief to the refugees, and to the internally displaced and besieged areas in Syria. We also call for Britain and the international community to uphold their legal and moral obligations to refugees. We campaign for the release of all political detainees in Syria who are undergoing systematic torture and abuse. We support all efforts towards a political settlement for a democratic, just, pluralist and united Syria, where all Syrians can freely determine their future.

15 عاماً على الثورة السورية:

في الذكرى الخامسة عشرة للثورة السورية، عقد المجلس السوري البريطاني جلسة حوارية بعنوان ( 15 عاماً على الثورة السورية: حوار حول تطلعات الشعب السوري نحو الحرية والعدالة وفرص تعزيزها).

استضاف المجلس السوري البريطاني كلاً من السيد إبراهيم العلبي، مندوب سوريا الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة، والسيدة ياسمين المشعان، عضو الهيئة الوطنية للعدالة الانتقالية. وقد أدار الجلسة السيد عبد العزيز الماشي، عضو مجلس الإدارة في المجلس السوري البريطاني.

كانت الجلسة فرصة لاستذكار التضحيات التي قدمها السوريون والسوريات على مدى السنوات الماضية في سعيهم لبناء دولة تصون الحريات و تبني كرامة المواطن السوري.

تناول النقاش أبرز التحولات التي شهدتها سوريا بعد مرور أكثر من عام على سقوط النظام السابق، إلى جانب التحديات الراهنة على الصعيدين الدولي والداخلي. وشمل ذلك قضايا لا تزال عالقة أو قيد المعالجة، مثل ملف شمال شرق سوريا، وأزمة السويداء، والانتهاكات المرتبطة بها، إضافة إلى دور الدولة السورية في متابعة هذه الملفات دولياً بما يضمن مساراً فعّالاً وحقيقياً للعدالة الانتقالية.

كما تطرق الحوار بشكل معمّق إلى عمل الهيئة الوطنية للعدالة الانتقالية، والملفات الحساسة التي تضطلع بها، مثل قضية الأطفال المفقودين، وأوضاع الخارجين من مخيم الهول، والخطوات اللازمة لضمان تحقيق العدالة، ليس فقط من خلال المحاسبة، بل أيضاً عبر جبر الضرر وإشراك الضحايا في العملية.

وخلال الجلسة، وجّه السيد إبراهيم العلبي رسالة إلى أعضاء الهيئة العامة في المجلس السوري البريطاني، بصفته أحد الأعضاء المؤسسين فيه.

من جانبها أكدت السيدة ياسمين المشعان أن الهيئة منفتحة على العمل البنّاء والنقد، وتسعى إلى تطوير آليات أكثر فاعلية في الشفافية والتواصل مع الشعب السوري، ضمن الإمكانيات والموارد المتاحة.

يدعوكم المجلس السوري البريطاني لحضور جلسة نقاشية خاصة عبر الإنترنت بمناسبة الذكرى الخامسة عشرة لانطلاق الثورة السورية.
يشارك في الجلسة:

Today marks an important milestone — one year since a major turning point in Syria’s history, and a moment to reflect on the strength and resilience of its people.

This anniversary is more than a date. It is a recognition of the endurance, hope, and determination shown by Syrians throughout years of hardship. It honours families who persevered through difficult times and communities that continued to support one another with courage and compassion.

As we celebrate this day, we remember those who sacrificed their lives and their dreams in the hope of a better future for Syria. We also reflect on the resilience that carried Syria forward and look ahead with hope for continued recovery, unity, and peace.

Here’s to a brighter future for Syria — one grounded in strength, renewal, and the will to move forward.
