We exist to promote the interests of people living on the Palace Road Estate, London, SW2

South London Botanical Institute are hosting a free plant identification session on Palace Road Estate on the 18th July from 3.30-6.30pm.

The session will run with a botanist (Mark Spencer) and a few SLBI volunteers. It's free and welcome any to everyone to come and join them and try out their plant recording skills. They will provide all of the materials needed.

📣 Save the Date Sunday 26th July for Palace Road Estates Summer Community Day 2026 📣

We are waiting to hear if we have received the Getting-Involved-Grant from Lambeth to fund our summer community day again this year. We are planning a day similar to last year, with a bouncy castle, games, face painting, and music including another performance by the fabulous Brixton Chamber Orchestra. 🥳

The day will run from midday until approx. 6pm. Please pop the date in you dairies and cross everything for sunshine!

🌸 🌼 Join us for our annual spring gardening morning this Saturday. Join us to tidy our estate planters – weeding, pruning, spreading wood chip, and planting out the seedlings grown by our residents. 🌸 🌼

It's a great opportunity to come and have a go, especially if you've never done gardening before!
