In June, we brought together practitioners, carers, policymakers and partners in to explore the financial education landscape for care-experienced young people in .

Our new report captures the key themes discussed, including the "cliff edge" young people face when they leave care, the gap between what they're entitled to and what they actually receive, and eight recommendations for change.

Whether you're an educator, social worker, foster/kinship carer or policymaker, this is for you.

Excellent work from the St. Louise’s Comprehensive College group at our Understanding Work and Money day.

Our volunteers shared their work journeys from part time work as teenagers, through self employment, to their current roles at L&G. They also answered questions about salary, payslips, deductions, pensions, costs and benefits of work, and gave tips and tricks for CVs and interviews.

Huge thanks to the Innovation Factory, Belfast for hosting the sessions!

What a busy time we had at our Understanding Money and Work day!

The girls from St. Dominic's Grammar School Belfast worked hard and put our volunteers to the test with lots of questions about the costs and benefits of work, investing in workplace pensions, identify transferable skills to include in a CV, and prepping for interviews.
