Looking for support for your family? Visit the One Place One Stop Support & Advice hub at Best Start Family Hub Rye Oak.

Available every Wednesday for families with children aged 0-19 years (up to 25 years with SEND), offering: ✅ Family support
✅ Parenting support
✅ Housing assistance
✅ Debt & welfare advice
✅ Support for teenagers
✅ Community paediatrician access
✅ Advice, guidance and signposting

Weekly Infant Feeding Drop-Ins 💜

Whether you're breastfeeding, bottle feeding, mixed feeding, or starting solids, our friendly Southwark Infant Feeding Team is here to support you. Come along for practical tips, evidence-based information, and a chance to connect with other local parents and carers.

✅ No appointment needed
✅ Free to attend
✅ Partners, friends and family welcome

📍 Sessions run Monday to Friday across Southwark:

• Monday: 1st Place Children and Parent's Centre (12pm to 2pm)
• Tuesday: Crawford Children and Family Centre (10am to 12pm)
• Wednesday: Dulwich Wood Children's Centre (12pm to 2pm)
• Thursday: Rotherhithe Children's Centre (10am to 12pm)
• Friday: Rye Oak Children and Family Centre (10am to 12pm)

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the session ends to allow enough time for support.

If you need infant feeding support, come along and chat with our friendly team. No booking required and partners are welcome. Please bring your baby's Red Book.

⚠️ Please note: The Tuesday Crawford session has moved from the morning to the afternoon and will now run from 12pm to 2pm.

We're delighted to let you know that Breathe Melodies for Mums will be returning to Southwark from October, and we are open for registrations.

Breathe Melodies for Mums is a free, evidence-based singing programme for mums with babies aged 0-9 months who may be experiencing low mood, anxiety, isolation, or symptoms of postnatal depression. The programme provides a welcoming, supportive space where mums can connect with others, strengthen their bond with their baby, and take time for their own wellbeing. No singing experience is needed, and mums self-refer via our website.

Join our welcoming breastfeeding support drop-in session every Wednesday from 12pm to 2pm at:

Our trained peer supporters are available to offer infant feeding support from pregnancy and throughout your breastfeeding journey.
