Girls Not Brides celebrates the Republic of Djibouti for making history as the first African Union Member State to officially sign the African Union Convention on Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (AU-CEVAWG).
The signing, led by ๐.๐. ๐ ๐. ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฎ ๐ข๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป, Minister of Women and Family, in the presence of a high-level African Union delegation led by ๐.๐. ๐ ๐. ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ฝ, AU Special Envoy on Women, Peace and Security, and joined by representatives from the African Women Leaders Network, marks a defining moment in Africaโs journey toward justice, equality, and protection for all.
