A coalition of anti-racist, anti-Zionist Jewish activists, parents, and educators has launched a campaign calling on the government to reconsider its so-called “independent review on antisemitism in schools.”
We reject the terms of this review because of its potentially dangerous implications for any child or educator who expresses criticism of Israel. We are concerned because the consultation explicitly references the IHRA definition, conflates Zionism with Judaism, and conflates Zionism and Judaïsm. It also promotes a punitive and surveillance oriented culture that breeds fear and censorship.
