My Real Story !

https://youtu.be/Gmo9GusCLDQ?si=4l1hvNgD9uX-ddIJ

The day of 8th June 2026 began as normal and I set out forwork to outpatient surgical clinics, provide charitable medical services, and participate in the teaching and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate medical trainees in B
ahria Int . Hosp. and Bahria Orchard Lahore.

After travelling approximately 20 kilometres along the L20 road, an unexpected catastrophe occurred. Without warning, a front tyre burst, causing an immediate loss of vehicle stability. The vehicle rolled repeatedly along the roadway before overturning. Glass shattered in all directions, the noise was overwhelming, and the force of impact was immense.

Remarkably, throughout the accident I remained fully conscious. As the vehicle rolled, I focused intensely on maintaining composure and mental clarity. Two concerns dominated my thoughts. First, I feared that the fuel system might ignite, resulting in a fire. Second, I worried that damage to the vehicle’s electronic systems might prevent the release of my seatbelt, leaving me trapped.

When the vehicle finally came to rest upside down, I attempted to release the seatbelt. My first effort was unsuccessful, which understandably heightened my anxiety. However, I remained determined. Drawing upon every reserve of resilience and resolve, I pressed the buckle a second time with greater force. Fortunately, the mechanism released, bringing an immediate sense of relief.

Surrounded by shattered glass within the overturned vehicle, I searched for an escape route. Through the damaged rear section of the car, I could see daylight. With the courageous assistance of fellow road users who stopped to help, I was safely extricated from the wreckage.

At that stage, I remained alert and fully conscious, although I was experiencing considerable pain in my neck and upper back. Emergency medical services arrived promptly and transported me to hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Initial investigations revealed significant injuries to my cervical spine. Within hours, my condition deteriorated dramatically, resulting in the loss of both sensory and motor function in my upper and lower limbs. This represented one of the most frightening and uncertain moments of my life unfolded many things.

Following emergency evaluation, I underwent an extensive eight-hour spinal surgical procedure aimed at decompressing the spinal cord, stabilising the cervical spine, and repairing the structural damage responsible for the neurological deficits and paralysis.

Following surgery, I spent two days in the Intensive Care Unit and several additional days in the hospital ward. By the grace and mercy of Allah Almighty, I was subsequently discharged home and have now commenced an intensive programme of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

My recovery continues steadily, one day at a time. My treating surgeons, physicians, and rehabilitation specialists remain optimistic that, through continued therapy, perseverance, and determination, I will regain further neurological function and ultimately return to an active and productive life.

This experience has reinforced a profound lesson: Devine forces are more powerful than faith, resilience, determination, and the human will to survive. Even during the darkest moments, when circumstances appear overwhelming and hope seems distant, one must remain calm, trust in Allah, and continue moving forward step by step.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my family, friends, colleagues, healthcare professionals, and the countless well-wishers from around the world who have supported me through their prayers, messages, encouragement, and kindness. Your unwavering support has provided immense strength throughout this challenging journey.

I humbly request your continued prayers for my complete recovery. Insha’Allah, I look forward to sharing further updates on my progress in the weeks and months ahead.

Initial investigations revealed significant injuries to my cervical spine. Within hours, my condition deteriorated dramatically, resulting in the loss of both sensory and motor function in my upper and lower limbs. This represented one of the most frightening and uncertain moments of my life.

At this critical juncture, I contacted my esteemed colleague and longstanding friend, Professor Abdul Majid Chaudhry, with whom I have worked since 1997. Through his support and urgent intervention, my case was reviewed by the distinguished neurosurgeon Professor Anjum Habib Vohra FRCS (Edinburgh), UK.

Following emergency evaluation, I underwent an extensive eight-hour spinal surgical procedure aimed at decompressing the spinal cord, stabilising the cervical spine, and repairing the structural damage responsible for the neurological deficits and paralysis.

کم سے کم حملہ آور سرجری (MIS)
https://youtu.be/RhoCDlzcFMs?si=qxpxvue0aIGxWWTo

What is Minimal Invasive Surgery ?

https://youtu.be/vZP_9coyqy0?si=fNe9kLplxKP35qup

Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) is a medical technique designed to avoid the large incisions of traditional open surgery when surgeons can operate while using specialised instruments causing less trauma to the body, leading to less pain, reduced scarring, and a faster recovery.

Laparoscopic Surgery:
Introduced inn1990. The most common form, typically used in the abdomen or pelvis for procedures like gallbladder, prostate , removal, appendectitis, and hernia repair.

Robotic Surgery:
invented in 2000 , Allows the surgeon to operate from a console using advanced robotic arms. It provides highly precise movements, increased flexibility, and a 3D view of the surgical site with precise and tremourless approach.

Endoscopic Surgery:
Uses a scope and camera to operate through natural body openings (like the mouth, esophagus, colon or urethra) requiring no skin incisions at all. These endoscopies serve as diagnostic and therapeutic purpose.
