The Sir Martin Gilbert Learning Centre

The Sir Martin Gilbert Learning Centre is an initiative designed to make history accessible and exciting.

Established in memory of the late British historian Sir Martin Gilbert, the Centre offers engaging programmes across the year, based on the subjects Sir Martin spent his life exploring: Modern Jewish History, the Holocaust, the First and Second World Wars, and Winston Churchill.

Our Vision is that people of all ages should enjoy and appreciate the study of history and gain a better understanding of the dynamic relationship between past, present, and future.

Our Mission is to uphold Sir Martin Gilbert’s legacy for future generations, using his scholarship, integrity and principles as a guide for those who wish to learn from history.
