Latin Mass Society We have an office in London with a small staff, and Local Representatives all over England and Wales.

An association of Catholic faithful dedicated to the traditional Latin liturgy of the Catholic Church, the teachings and practices integral to it, the musical tradition which serves it, and the Latin language in which it is celebrated. The Latin Mass Society, founded in 1965, is an association of Catholic faithful dedicated to the traditional Latin liturgy of the Catholic Church, the teachings and

practices integral to it, the musical tradition which serves it, and the Latin language in which it is celebrated. Together we organise Masses, devotional events, and training in Latin, Chant, and the celebration of Mass; we promote the ancient liturgical tradition in the Catholic press, online, and elsewhere, and we represent the needs and views of our members and supporters to the Catholic hierarchy.

Our annual Pilgrimage to Walsingham is taking place 27-30th August

Writing in OnePeterFive, our Chairman Dr Shaw previously discusses the sacred geography behind the pilgrimage

'Christianity has the right and duty to recall once-Christian nations to their origins as distinct communities united under the Church and ordered towards God'

The LMS National Chaplain, Monsignor Gordon Read, is this year marking the Golden Jubilee of his ordination to the priesthood.

We're gathering a spiritual bouquet to mark his 50 years of tireless service to God and countless souls, as well as to the Traditional Roman Rite

We've had the honour of having him as our National Chaplain for over a decade. In that time Mgr. Read has served the Society both publicly, in celebrating Masses, and behind the scenes, in giving advice, with unfailing patience, enormous experience, and profound wisdom

You can pledge devotions to the spiritual bouquet here: https://forms.gle/9snC8ncQgCegncBYA

Deus, qui nobis sub Sacraménto mirábili passiónis tuæ memóriam reliquísti: tríbue, quǽsumus, ita nos Córporis et Sánguinis tui sacra mystéria venerári; ut redemptiónis tuæ fructum in nobis júgiter sentiámus.

O God, You Who in this wondrous sacrament have left us a memorial of Your passion, grant us, we beseech You, so to venerate the sacred mysteries of Your Body and Blood that we may ever experience within us the effect of Your redemption.

Today marks the start of the month dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

The devotion stems from visions experienced by a French nun, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, between 1673 and 1675, where Jesus revealed His heart as a symbol of His love

Cor Iesu, in sinu Virginis Matris a Spiritu Sancto formatum miserere nobis

Heart of Jesus, formed by the Holy Ghost in the womb of the Virgin Mother, have mercy on us

Magníficat ánima mea Dóminum.
Et exsultávit spíritus meus in Deo salutári meo.
Quia respéxit humilitátem ancíllæ suæ: ecce enim ex hoc beátam me dicent omnes generatiónes.

In the latest issue of Mass of Ages, Fr Thomas Crean OP writes on the sacrifice of St Joseph:

"Joseph also had a trial to surmount, and one that was even more excruciating... he received a new insight into Mary’s holiness. He knew that she belonged entirely to God, and so he resolved to separate himself from her."
