The LMS National Chaplain, Monsignor Gordon Read, is this year marking the Golden Jubilee of his ordination to the priesthood.

We're gathering a spiritual bouquet to mark his 50 years of tireless service to God and countless souls, as well as to the Traditional Roman Rite

We've had the honour of having him as our National Chaplain for over a decade. In that time Mgr. Read has served the Society both publicly, in celebrating Masses, and behind the scenes, in giving advice, with unfailing patience, enormous experience, and profound wisdom

O God, You Who in this wondrous sacrament have left us a memorial of Your passion, grant us, we beseech You, so to venerate the sacred mysteries of Your Body and Blood that we may ever experience within us the effect of Your redemption.

Today marks the start of the month dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

The devotion stems from visions experienced by a French nun, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, between 1673 and 1675, where Jesus revealed His heart as a symbol of His love

Heart of Jesus, formed by the Holy Ghost in the womb of the Virgin Mother, have mercy on us
