Who's Cooking Dinner? The flagship fundraising event of Leukaemia UK is back for 2022 - Monday 19th September at The Dorchester. Who’s Cooking Dinner? Check out our photographs.

For one night only 20 top London chefs come together to cook dinner for 200 diners. Each creates in his or her style a four-course meal for one table of ten. There are 20 tables in all, but because it’s a blind booking, your personal chef and menu are not revealed until the draw at the beginning of the evening. The curtain comes down with an exceptional auction of chefs, where you can bid for one

of the culinary stars to cook dinner in your own home. is the brainchild of two men, New Zealand-born chef Peter Gordon and Restaurateur Chris Corbin OBE. Both of whose lives irrevocably changed in 1994. So what happens when 20 chefs get together to cook?

Jeremy Lee MBE joined Sam & Eddie Hart at Quo Vadis
in Soho in 2012, becoming Chef Proprietor after
previously manning the stoves of Blueprint Café at the
Design Museum. Jeremy has worked with Simon
Hopkinson and Alastair Little, key figures in British
cuisine’s revival. His first book, Cooking: Simply and
Well, was published in 2022, with a second book to be
published in autumn 2026

Martyn Nail, Culinary Director at the Dorchester,
graduated with a diploma from Highbury College in
1986, top in his field with distinction. Two years later, he
started work at Claridge’s as Third Commis Chef under
Maître Chef des Cuisines Marjan Lesnik and later under
John Williams. He rose to the ranks as highly respected
Executive Chef in 2004. He has recently become the
lead at The Grill at the Dorchester alongside Jacob
Keen-Downs

Who’s Cooking Dinner’s very own committee member is back for another year, supporting tomorrow night!!

Elliott is the Executive Chef at Dorchester Collection’s
45 Park Lane, overseeing culinary direction, including
Wolfgang Puck’s CUT. After honing his skills with
and , Elliott held key roles at Le Caprice,
Scott’s, Hix Soho, The Ned and Duck & Waffle.
For the past two years he has been chef to the A-list
at the Oscars!

Deepak Mallya is the Executive Sous Chef at the Ritz Hotel London 2 Michelin star working under John Williams. Some of his achievements include: the 2016 Michel Bourdin scholar of the year, a 2021 Taittinger prix Culinaire finalist and the 2022 acorn 30 under 30 award winner.

Ducasse for over a decade at Spoon in London and
Alain’s iconic restaurant in Monaco. He joined
The Dorchester team in 2013 and became Executive

Andy Beynon trained in professional kitchens from the age of 16. He gained experience in classical fine dining which he combined with his love of seafood. He’s worked at The Latymer, The Square, Hibiscus, Fenchurch and Jason Atherton’s Social Company. He launched Behind, an eighteen-cover chef’s counter restaurant in Hackney, in October 2020 where he has earned a Michelin Star.

After gaining recognition at The Ritz, winning the Roux
Scholarship and leading The Burlington Restaurant to
four AA Rosettes, Adam moved to Coworth Park,
earning them a Michelin star. In 2022, he launched
‘Woven by Adam Smith’, also earning a Michelin star.
Smith recently triumphed on BBC’s Great British Menu,
winning a place at the Paris banquet.
