This weekend CFAV's from NW, Southern and London Area came together for weekend 2 of their respective Lowland Expedition Leader award courses in the peak district. We got the opportunity to share experience while perfecting navigation, group management and campcraft I'm the AT instructors of the Future! BZ to all the candidates and a massive thankyou to the instructors that made this possible.

2026 season has officially started with our New CFAVS entering the world of Outdoor fun/learning and on their journey to becoming qualified Lowland Expedition Leaders. BZ All your first weekend has been amazing, i cant wait to see you grow and develop!!

Not only did we have CFAV join us from across London Area we also welcomed CFAV from across Southern Area as we join forces to get more instructors outdoors and it has been a pleasure to have them onboard.

It was also lovely to have A*O Southern Area SCC Adventure Training join us along with our AT Desk Officer who supported and imparted valuable knowledge to our 2026 Candiates. We look forward to working together so we can grow what we can deliever across our areas and the rest of the Corps going forward.

A Massive Thank You to all of my team who supported and made this weekend happen and be here to train and impart their knowledge and years of experience and mentor the next generation of instructors. This wouldnt happen without you all!!

And my Last Thank You to Sunbury and Walton Sea Cadets for hosting us once again and the loan of your bus. We as ever appreciate your support.
