🦁❤️ TOGETHER, WE MADE A DIFFERENCE! ❤️🦁

On Tuesday, 1st September, Lions Club of Sudbury, in collaboration with Blueroom, had the privilege of organising an extraordinary charity event in support of the victims of the devastating floods in Nepal.

What happened that evening was truly incredible. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community, supporters, friends and everyone who came along, we are proud to have raised over £50,000! 🙏🎉

This amazing achievement would simply not have been possible without YOU. Every donation, every helping hand, every volunteer and every person who showed up made a difference. Together, we have shown the incredible impact we can make when a community comes together for those in need. 🌍❤️

🦁 A SPECIAL WELCOME TO OUR NEW MEMBERS! 🦁

We were also delighted to induct two new members into the Lions Club of Sudbury during this special event. The induction was conducted by PDG Lion Praveen Verma, who has taken on his new role as LCIF Director.

👏🏼 Congratulations to Lion Parveen Verma on his new and important post! We wish you every success in your new role.

And a huge CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to our two newest Lions! 🦁🎉 We are thrilled to have you join our club and become part of our mission to serve and make a difference in our community and beyond.

But our work doesn’t stop here.

There are always people who need our help — locally, nationally and around the world. We encourage everyone to keep supporting those less fortunate, give your time, volunteer when you can, and be the reason someone’s life gets a little better. 💙

And if you want to do more, why not become a Lion? 🦁
Join us, make new friends, serve your community and be part of something bigger than yourself.

👉 Volunteer. Donate. Get involved. Become a Lion.
Together, we can continue to make a lasting difference.

🦁 A Landmark Evening for Lions Club of Sudbury! 🦁

Our BBQ Party 2026 was a truly special occasion, celebrating friendship, service, and one of the most significant milestones in our club’s recent history – the induction of 12 new members into Lions Club of Sudbury.

Welcoming so many new Lions in one evening is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the growing impact of our club and the dedication of those committed to serving our community. As we work towards , these new members will strengthen our ability to make an even greater difference in the years ahead.

We were delighted to share this memorable evening with our friends from Lions Club of Hatch End Centennial, whose partnership and fellowship continue to demonstrate the very best of Lionism. Together, we celebrated not only membership growth but also our shared commitment to helping others.

A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of donations supporting Brain Tumour Research and Young Lives vs Cancer, helping these outstanding charities continue their vital work for individuals and families facing difficult challenges.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to our District Governor, and our PDG & District Secretary, for attending and supporting this important event. Your presence made the occasion even more meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and contributed to making the evening such a success. Together, we are growing stronger, serving more people, and building lasting friendships through service.
