While we celebrate this blessed Eid, our hearts are with those in many parts of the world who cannot enjoy the joy of this day because of war, violence, and suffering. We remember them in our thoughts and prayers, and we ask Allah to bring peace, safety, and dignity to all people.
May this Eid inspire humanity to choose compassion over conflict, mercy over hatred, and peace over war. Eid Mubarak. May peace prevail across the world.

The rapid escalation of military actions across the Middle East and North Africa region has created a humanitarian crisis that threatens the lives of millions. As global powers and regional actors engage in cycles of retaliation, it is the innocent who pay the highest price.

Human Rights International calls on all combatants and state actors to immediately prioritize the safety of non-combatants. The principles of the Geneva Conventions are not optional; they are the floor of our shared humanity.

We demand:

• An immediate cessation of attacks on residential areas and vital civilian infrastructure.

• The establishment of safe corridors for those fleeing violence and for the delivery of life-saving medical supplies.

• Strict adherence to international law, ensuring that military necessity never overrides the duty to protect human life.
