Whatever the change of heart, we appreciate the UK right wing party’s stance that Britain should stay out of this war. Last week their stance was different. Military intervention rarely leads to lasting peace—it’s time we focus on solutions that don't involve further conflict.

We demand:

• An immediate cessation of attacks on residential areas and vital civilian infrastructure.

• The establishment of safe corridors for those fleeing violence and for the delivery of life-saving medical supplies.

• Strict adherence to international law, ensuring that military necessity never overrides the duty to protect human life.
