Living Well Bromley

We are happy to tell you that we have opened our Living Well Pantry!

This is an affordable food club where members pay £5 per week and can choose a basket of food worth approximately £20. It's set up more like a shop than a foodbank and members can choose all their items. As membership numbers are limited, we are also able to offer more tailored support such as benefit checks and savings schemes.

The Pantry is targeted at long term users of the foodbank to try to support them into a position where they no longer need a foodbank.
The feedback so far has been extremely positive.

This trial period of the Pantry was very kindly funded by The KTR fund (through Community Links Bromley), for which we are very grateful.

GREAT NEWS!
Between 22-29 June we have match funding available!

Thanks to the wonderful Postcode Lottery players, donations made during Small Charity Week will be DOUBLED through funding awarded by Postcode Society Trust.

Every donation to Living Well (through our Big Give page) will be matched (up to a total of £5,000).

There's never been a better time to support Living Well!

As part of Volunteers Week, today we'd like to introduce you to Michael.

One of Michael's volunteering roles is working in our charity shop. Our team of volunteers work hard sorting and pricing donations and talking to our fab Penge community.

Our lovely little charity shop raises much needed funds to help keep all our services running.

Thank you to Michael and everyone who volunteers in our Living Well Shop.

As part of Volunteers Week, today we'd like to introduce you to Paul.

Around 900 adults and 500 children come to our foodbank every month - that's a lot of food!

Paul works in one of our food sorting teams. Making sure that we have everything ready to pack hundreds of food parcels every week.

Thank you Paul and all our sorters who keep our foodbank so well organised and stocked!

As it's the start of Volunteers Week we wanted to introduce you to a few of our amazing volunteers.

Meet Jo.... a fantastic volunteer in our Kitchen Team.
Every week the team produce over 230 free hot meals for our foodbank guests. They're always delicious, nutritious and cooked with love.

We are open
Tuesdays 2-3:30 (with foodbank, free art club and free cafe)
Fridays 1-2:30 (with foodbank, free hot meal)
Saturdays 10:30-12:00 (with foodbank and free cafe)

We also have free advice services and a monthly clothes bank.

Everyone is welcome.
(Postcode restrictions apply for the foodbank).
