The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the list of House of Representatives aspirants who were screened but not cleared to participate in the party’s forthcoming primary elections nationwide.

According to a statement issued by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the affected aspirants failed to secure clearance after the party’s screening exercise conducted in line with its established guidelines and procedures.

The list, which covers several states across the country, includes aspirants from Ondo, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Kogi, and Rivers states.

Particular attention has been drawn to the inclusion of Sanni Salau Ogembe from Kogi State, who aspired to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing the Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency. Ogembe was officially listed among those marked “Not Cleared” by the party’s screening committee.

Political observers in Kogi State say the development could reshape the contest for the APC ticket in the constituency, especially considering Ogembe’s grassroots visibility and political structure within the area.

Other notable aspirants on the disqualification list include Rt. Hon. Arowole Ayodeji Samuel from Ondo State, Dr. Bashir Ibrahim Bello from Bauchi State, and Hon. Boma Goodhead from Rivers State.

The APC leadership maintained that the screening process was aimed at ensuring that only qualified aspirants who met the party’s requirements would proceed to the primary election stage.

The statement was signed by Felix Morka on behalf of the national leadership of the ruling party.
