Yesterday, more than 130 members and guests enjoyed a memorable Summer Lunch at the Victory Services Club, remembering the Falklands conflict 44 years on.

Following an exceptional meal, Major General Jeff Mason MBE RM and Sergeant Tom Herring shared powerful first-hand accounts of courage, sacrifice and resilience—at sea and on land.

It was also a privilege to welcome many Falklands veterans, whose presence made the occasion especially meaningful.

Military clubs share a proud tradition of service, community and camaraderie — and by working together, we can make that tradition even stronger.

This morning, CEO and Club Secretary Colin Francis CBE and the team were delighted to welcome RAF Club CEO Miles Pooley FIH MI and his team to the Club.

The visit was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and explore how our clubs can work more closely together to support our members and the wider Armed Forces community.

We look forward to building on this positive collaboration.

Artwork with a special connection to the Falklands Conflict has been donated to the Victory Services Club.

Lionel Gresham and the Royal Marines Association Portsmouth formally presented the print to General Manager Mark Field, where it will join the Club’s collection of military artwork.

🔨 The VSC Lounge Bar refurbishment is underway! From the end of service on Friday, 31st July 2026 to Thursday, 10th September 2026, the Lounge Bar area of the Club will be closed.

The Navy Lounge and Coffee Bar will remain open throughout, although they are likely to be busier than usual. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back to a refreshed Lounge Bar in September. ✨
