💧 Water changes everything. And the coffee community knows it.
This World Water Day, the United Nations theme “Water and Gender” is a reminder that the global water crisis doesn’t affect everyone equally. When safe water and sanitation are out of reach, inequalities grow and women and girls carry the heaviest burden.
Here’s where we come in. ☕
Through UK Coffee Week, cafés, roasters, brands and coffee lovers across the UK come together to support Project Waterfall by raising funds for clean water projects and raising awareness about water access and inequality in coffee-growing communities.
Because safe water isn’t just about infrastructure.
It’s education.
It’s opportunity.
It’s gender equality.
And when the coffee community shows up, real change happens. ☕💧

UK Coffee Week proves what happens when the coffee community comes together: awareness grows, people unite, and real change happens.
Every roaster, café, and coffee drinker who gets involved helps turn everyday cups into impact by raising vital funds for Project Waterfall and supporting clean water, sanitation, and brighter futures for women and girls in coffee-growing communities.

Hello 2026! 🍾
Before we sprint into the new year, we’re taking a moment to look back at what we (yes, you included) made happen in 2025:

✨Nearly £15,000 raised
✨Thousands of coffees poured with purpose
✨A community that proved over and over again that “just one more cup” can actually change lives.

If you supported, shared, donated, hosted, partnered, brewed, shouted about us, or simply chose to drink a coffee with impact, thank you. ❤️‍🩹

And just like that…we have reached the end. 💫

The last 12 days have been our little way of sprinkling some joy into December, a pause between emails, deadlines, long commutes, and all the end-of-the-year madness.
