Today is Celebration Day, and we’re thrilled to be a charity partner 🧡

This special day is a chance for us all to pause and celebrate the lives of those who shaped us.
This year, we’ve worked with Celebration Day to create free, age‑appropriate resources that help normalise conversations about loss, encourage celebrating lives, and support emotional literacy in children and young people.

We’ve also developed take‑home guides for parents, to help continue supportive conversations at home through clear language, shared reflection and meaningful activities.

DEAR PRIME MINISTER #4 💚

In this latest message to the Prime Minister, Tom shares how Bolton Hospice gave his dad a pain-free and peaceful death when there was nowhere else to turn.

Hospice UK is a proud partner of Celebration Day 2026 🧡

Taking place on the last Monday in May, Celebration Day is a chance for us all to pause and celebrate the lives of those who shaped us.

This year, we’ve worked with Celebration Day to create free, age‑appropriate resources that help normalise conversations about loss, encourage celebrating lives and support emotional literacy in children and young people. We’ve also developed take‑home guides for parents, to help continue supportive conversations at home through clear language, shared reflection and meaningful activities.

DEAR PRIME MINISTER #3 💛

These are just some of the empty beds at St Helena Hospice They are empty because they simply do not have the funds to run them.

Right now, there are patients in desperate need of these beds, who instead of receiving the care they deserve, are on waiting lists or in hospital corridors. That’s why we’re calling for fair funding for hospices, now.
