Day Opportunities:

Ellingham are pioneering meaningful and empowering services for people with learning disabilities. Our I Can Ventures day opportunity service is a bold new vision. We want to do away with the mediocrity of traditional day services. Why should people wit

h learning disabilities accept second best when choosing services? We support individuals to learn and develop vocational and life skills, whilst enjoying social interaction and the chance to participate in fun, positive and constructive activities. Employment Programmes:

We work with people with a wide range of disabilities that may make it difficult for them to find employment and run programmes designed to assist them into work. In addition we provide advice and support to employers to help them employ and retain people with disabilities. We are experts in this field of work, with a team of dedicated professionals who are experienced in integrating people with disabilities into the workplace. Our team of specialists includes staff with a business/commercial background, as well as those highly qualified in the area of training and further education of people with disabilities. This means our approach looks after the interests of employers, as well as the vocational needs of our clients.

We are rebranding!

We are delighted to announce that from 9th September 2024 the new name for Ellingham will be London Ability.

Established in 1986 as Ellingham Employment Services, we are rebranding as London Ability to better communicate our services and raise our profile while remaining true to our core mission: To support clients to live the life they want to live, and to support them to reach their potential.

Following the official launch of the London Ability name and branding, all forthcoming communications from us will be in our new name.

However, rest assured everything else will remain the same.

All our services will continue unchanged with the usual dedicated staff team, demonstrating the same ethos and commitment to our clients, and you will still be able to get in touch with us in the usual ways.

Whether that is through employment opportunities and support, empowering and meaningful day opportunities, or access to work support, our new name and brand reflects the ethos and values of Ellingham, and builds on Ellingham’s almost 40 years of experience and work within the community.

We will be supporting Leyton Jumble Trail on Sunday 13th August, with a stall here in Ellingham Road selling plants, hanging baskets, bird boxes, wine racks, bug hotels, planters etc. All handmade here on site. Come and say Hi - it promises to be a great day of community interaction!
