Today is a really sad day for all at Clapton and Hackney Sea Cadets.
We are celebrating the life of Lt Christine Weston who sadly passed away on the 10th April 2026.
Christine has been in charge of our unit since 2018 and helped create an amazing family, inspire those past and present to always push themselves to be whatever they set their mind to, and always be there for everyone in any capacity she could.
With her as our OiC, our unit thrived and truly felt like a second home to many. The impact of her being gone will be felt every day and a parade night won't go by without us thinking of her.
