The Beavers and Cubs had a lovely day out yesterday at Bird World in Farnham. With lots of birds to see and learn about, along with an amazing tree top adventure playground to climb in, we all had a great day celebrating our 40th and 110th anniversary years. 🐧🪿🦆🦉🐦‍⬛🦅🦜🦩

We give our thanks to Karl from 2nd Cuddington for providing our transport and to the adults who gave up their day to make it happen. More photos can be seen at our AGM on Tuesday 22nd Sept at our HQ at 7pm! All welcome!

1OM Troop and Titan Explorers had another fun weekend away camping. Despite the wet weather, they got involved in crossbows, gladiator challenges, ghillie suits and go karting. And of course the golden pineapple featured again 😊🏕️

It's our birthday, Scouts! 🎉 🥳 ✨

119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset.

We’re so proud of everything our volunteers have done since then to give young people a place to belong. Thank you to you all! 🙌

Cornwell Pack had some great evenings enjoying the local area and good weather in the last few weeks of the term. This included a walk on the Hogsmill open space for their Navigator badge, Kayaking on the Hogsmill river (thanks to Keith at 6th Tolworth) and archery with Tim from 22nd Wimbledon. We finished the term with a fantastic water fight at Southwood Activity Centre!!

Well done to the Cubs and thank you to all of the adult volunteers who made it possible 🛶🏹🧭🔫 💦

For our last meeting of term at Beavers we made ‘waterproof’ paper boats and then tested them out. Some lasted longer than others!

The Beavers had a fabulous time river dipping at Morden Hall Park this evening. Huge thanks to the National Trust team who led the event for us and helped us identify the different species of wildlife we found in the river.

Last week the Beavers had a great visit to New Malden Fire Station where they were very hands on learning about the work of the fire service 🚒
