The Little Big Peace Event is a four day long FREE festival in Streatham, South West London. The festival runs around International Day of Peace, September 21st. The little big peace event sets out to explore the culture and concept of peace in an inspiring and open-minded atmosphere. The event aims to draw in the local and wider community, both as participants and event goers. At its heart is the
idea of inclusiveness and acceptance. This is peace in its widest sense – not just political, but personal too. The little big peace event was founded in 2011 by Mel Larsen. It was (and still is) created and managed entirely by volunteers. The founding 2011 team was: Louise Abbotts, Lisa Balkissoon, Ann-Marie Baptiste, Anna Godsiff, Mel Larsen, Anna Nolan, Zoe Robinson, Joyce Serwah, Ben Spencer, Tim Ridley, Jane Woolner, Philip Valentino.
