Four years on, dangerous ambulance delays are still harming patients every single day.

This week the government's review of PIP admitted what disabled people have said for years: the assessment process is dehumanising, degrading and stressful, and the system is not fit for purpose.

PIP is a lifeline for mad and disabled people. Last year, sustained campaigning forced the government to drop £5bn of cuts. This review was set up in the wake of that climbdown.

But it has already ruled out any change that would increase spending, and only 10 disabled people were consulted, most of them charity staff, some under gagging orders.

A new investigation has found that Palantir - the company with a £330m contract to handle NHS patient data - paid just 8% tax on £25 million in profit.

Whilst our NHS is chronically underfunded, Palantir just posted their biggest ever quarterly profit.

Activate the break clause. Get them out of our NHS!

🚨 A national scandal.
New analysis reveals the true cost of the government's US pharma deal with Trump: £44.7bn diverted out of the NHS by 2036, and up to 229,000 avoidable deaths. That's more than the toll of the Covid pandemic.

As our director Diarmaid McDonald put it: "These numbers should shock people to their core. Tens of billions of pounds taken out of the NHS budget and put into the back pockets of the pharmaceutical industry, placing hundreds of thousands of lives at risk. Across the country, our parents, our grandparents, our loved ones, dying unnecessarily in order to inflate drug company profits and please Donald Trump."

The deal was rushed through with no proper scrutiny in Parliament, and the government still refuses to publish its own impact assessment.

That's why we, alongside Global Justice Now, are taking the government to court. Our legal challenge is the best chance we have to stop this deal, but we can't do it without you.
