It's time for some Everyday Imagination, our series of creative activities for families.

This time, we want you to imagine your favourite book characters have jumped off the page and into the real world! 📖✨

Inspired by our teacher-led project 'A Small Tale', we're bringing your favourite stories to life.🌍

Your challenge: choose who to set free! 📚

1. Who is your main character?
Think about your favourite book, and now what characters in that story are special to you. They can be a cheeky fox, a brave hero or a crime-solving potato.

2. Set them loose in your world
- Imagine your character has just leapt out of the page and landed in our world... where are they exactly? Your kitchen? Your school? Your local park?
- How do you think they will react to our world?

3. Bring them to life!
Draw a scene of your character in your world or write a short story about the events above and how you interact with your favourite book characters! You can even act it out with them!

We can't wait to see which characters you set free and where your imaginations take them! 🌟

Take your class on an immersive learning adventure. ✨

Over the course of two hours, your class will explore a richly tactile space, full of curious objects from the antique to the extraordinary. Guided by two skilled facilitators, we provide the perfect environment to bring out the inner storyteller in every learner, super charging your pupil’s oracy skills.

✨ It’s time for some Everyday Imagination…this time we’re travelling the world without even leaving the house! ✈️📍

💡 Your challenge: Create a Story from Anywhere

1. Pick your starting point

- Together with your family, choose an object in your home that could be your magic doorway into anywhere in the world!
For example: it might be a rug that becomes a magic carpet or a light switch that becomes a teleport button...

2. Choose your destination

- Where in the world are you going? You can choose a real place or invent your own!

3. Build the world by answering these questions

- What can you see, hear and smell there?
- Who else lives there?
- What is that place famous for?

Can't think of a place? Choose another object in your home that can inspire you!
For example: it can be a post card, a plant...let your object guide your next adventure!

4. Bring it to life
Draw your destination, write a short story or act it out as a mini performance.
Start with your object - then explore the world around it.

✨ It’s time for some Everyday Imagination…for this family activity, we’re telling stories where nothing goes to waste ♻️

💡 Your challenge:

1. Pick your hero object
Choose something old, broken or unused from your home.
For example: an old book

2. Give it a new role and ask:
- What is it used for now?
- Who uses it?
- Can it help the planet? 🌍

3. Show the change
What does your home, street or community look like when that object is repurposed?
- For example: Unused books can turn into planters filled with soil to grow flowers or herbs in the pages. 🌸🌿

4. Bring it to life
Make, draw or write your story using reused materials.

Imagining our dream 🚀 with the team.

In primary schools, every project we create uses . This places pupils within a fictional world, casting them as characters in a story, with their actions and work integral to the progression of the narrative.
