One month since we returned to the beautiful Smith Square Hall for a concert featuring our Academy and Flagship ensembles.

The programme included a new work, Canyonlands, by Peter Yarde Martin. This work was composed by Peter and Barnet Youth String Orchestra following Julia Turner’s Jack Petchey Foundation Leader Award.

It’s always special to hear so many of our young musicians performing together. Thank you to all of you who came to listen!

On Sunday 28th June, our brilliant One Voice Choir were joined but the BMAC Academy Choir, and the 2026 Festival Showcase Choir for a wonderful evening of singing.

We’re so proud of them all, particularly the singers who joined us from schools across Barnet. You are all amazing!
