For London School of Architecture’s ( ) Masterclass they headed to Making House for a session exploring architecture and design 🏙️

Club members took inspiration from Heatherwick Studio’s past and future projects on display, including a full-scale model of the rear of a London bus, to transform the function of spaces, turning schools into shops and shops into public toilets.

For their main task, they were briefed to devise a concept for a retail destination on a tropical island, where in groups, they developed ideas that considered food and beverage, local community offers and seating 🏝️

A huge thank you to for opening up their lively, experimental world for Club members to explore.

Creative talent is everywhere. Together, we can make sure opportunity is too.

The National Saturday Club is taking part in the Big Give campaign. It’s an opportunity to raise £15,000 to support free creative education for young people across the UK.

✨ 17–24 March
✨ All donations will be doubled

Across a UK-wide network of 129 Saturday Clubs, young people aged 13–16 have access to free, high-quality creative education every Saturday.

For many young people, particularly those from underserved communities and under-represented backgrounds, access to creative opportunities is shrinking. Saturday Clubs help open doors, supporting young people to develop skills, confidence, self-belief and ambition.

How the Big Give campaign works:

✨ Donate via the National Saturday Club Big Give campaign page, linked in the bio
✨ Donations made 17–25 March (until midday) are matched
✨ Gifts of any size are doubled - £10 becomes £20, £50 becomes £100

Support from across the National Saturday Club community makes this work possible. We are incredibly grateful for every donation made this week that will help to ensure more young people can access creative opportunities.

🔗 Donate before 24 March via the Big Give campaign link:

National Saturday Club seeks your support to give thousands of 13–16-year-olds across the UK free access to extracurricular creative education. This transformational initiative builds skills and confidence and makes visible the pathways to further study and rewarding careers in the creative sector...
