Support our refuges through our Amazon Wishlist πŸ’œ

Want to make a practical difference to women and children affected by domestic abuse?

Our ongoing Amazon Wishlist allows you to choose items that are needed across our refuges and have them sent directly to our head office, where they can be distributed where they’re needed most.

Every item, big or small, can help make a refuge feel a little more like home. πŸ‘πŸ’œ

Thank you for helping us support women and children as they rebuild their lives.

October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month. πŸ’œ
Domestic abuse can take many forms. It isn’t always physical, and it isn’t always easy to recognise. Controlling behaviour, emotional, psychological, sexual and financial abuse can all have a devastating impact.
This month, we’re asking everyone to listen, learn and speak out.
πŸ’œ Know the signs
πŸ’œ Talk about healthy relationships
πŸ’œ Believe and support someone who reaches out
πŸ’œ Challenge attitudes and behaviours that allow abuse to continue
πŸ’œ Share information about where people can find support

At Safe in Sussex, we support women affected by domestic abuse through refuge accommodation, community support and education. We’re committed to helping women recover, rebuild their confidence and live a life free from abuse.
If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, you are not alone. Support is available.
