Some of the most vulnerable patients cared for by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust are experiencing homelessness - facing significant barriers to both healthcare and support.

That’s why we help fund the specialist Homeless Health Team – a dedicated group making sure everyone gets the care they deserve, no matter their circumstances.

Thanks to donations, we've also supported the launch of the Homeless Patients Legal Advocacy Service, in partnership with Southwark Law Centre. This pioneering service offers legal advice, housing support, and healthcare advocacy all in one place, helping people navigate incredibly complex challenges.

Meet Will!

In 2024, Will joined our fearless team of Guy's and St Thomas' Charity fundraisers and abseiled down the front of St Thomas’ Hospital.

Will said, “It was a wonderful experience… such a positive vibe and lots of energy at the top. Everybody was so supportive.” After years away from getting into a harness, he said he couldn’t wait to sign up to do it all over again!

Debbie’s brother Gary, just 46, spent nearly four months in Critical Care after a sudden cardiac arrest. Her family was thrown into shock, fear, and uncertainty - unsure of what would happen next.

That’s when the Family Liaison Team stepped in.

“Our family were truly lost until we met the Family Liaison Team. They helped us navigate a completely new world. We went through such a torturous time, full of uncertainties and sadness, but Tamsin and Ruby made it that little bit more bearable,” Debbie shared.

This isn’t just support - it’s personalised care when families need it most.
