Debbie’s brother Gary, just 46, spent nearly four months in Critical Care after a sudden cardiac arrest. Her family was thrown into shock, fear, and uncertainty - unsure of what would happen next.

That’s when the Family Liaison Team stepped in.

“Our family were truly lost until we met the Family Liaison Team. They helped us navigate a completely new world. We went through such a torturous time, full of uncertainties and sadness, but Tamsin and Ruby made it that little bit more bearable,” Debbie shared.

A huge congratulations to our incredible supporter, Tim, on completing his extraordinary Mt Everest challenge!

In April, Tim took on one of the world’s toughest adventures, summiting Mt Everest while raising funds for us and three other charities.

His journey was inspired by his wife, Kay, who received life-saving care at Guy’s Hospital following a kidney transplant in 2012. The team has continued to support their family through some of life’s most important moments, including the safe arrival of their child.

Tim, thank you for your determination, resilience and generosity. We’re so grateful that you chose to support us through this remarkable challenge, and we couldn’t be prouder of your achievement ❤️

Feeling nervous about abseiling solo? Why not abseil with your friends!

With four rope lines running at once, you'll be descending side by side with up to three others - and we’ll do our best to group you with your crew! All you need to do is make sure your whole group has signed up.

If there are more than four in your group, we will do our best to make sure as many of your team can abseil in the same time slot, which are every half hour.

So, grab your friends, sign up, and face the drop together!
