Peace of Mind Project Meditation and stress reduction for Military veterans, Service-people and their spouses, partners and families Learning to meditate is an individual choice.

Like many others, you may feel changed as a person by what you have been through in military service, and you could be finding that coming home is difficult. We believe meditation can be of real value in supporting well-being; recovery from sustained intensely stressful situations; and in the healing process for military veterans including those suffering from Post Traumatic Stress. We would like

to meet you and to offer you the benefits of meditation. Our aim is to support you to find peace of mind, to sleep easier, to be comfortable inside your own skin, to experience improved relationships and to feel connected to a community that respects and cares about you. Meditation is a natural process requiring no specific beliefs. All you need is the desire for your own well-being to begin. We are also committed to supporting military spouses, partners and families, who know only too well the stress and struggles of the soldier's return home, the physical injuries and also the invisible wounds of war. We offer supportive, friendly and effective training in meditation and mindfulness-based stress reduction to help you to feel at ease in yourself and to increase your inner resources to be well and happy in relationships with loved ones, friends and family. On our courses and meditation days you will be amongst a small group of others and there will be space to share your experience, relax with the meditations, and learn new and useful skills.
