A little about the person behind The Kove 👋🏾🌿
Hi, I’m Cee — 23, a mum of two, an Early Years practitioner and the founder of The Kove Collective.
The idea behind The Kove is deeply personal. My siblings and I lost our brother to gun crime, and while I can’t change what happened, I want to be part of creating more positive opportunities, support and connection for the next generation.
Because let’s be honest… children can only say “I’m bored” so many times before everyone starts losing it 😭 and teenagers deserve more options than endlessly scrolling, staying indoors or being told there’s “nothing for their age”.
Parents are already stretched, young people need places where they can try new things, meet others and feel like they genuinely belong — and those opportunities should be affordable and inclusive too.
I’m not pretending The Kove is already some huge organisation. We’re grassroots, we’re listening and we’re starting small — but we’re starting with real intention.
No corporate waffle. No unrealistic promises. Just care, community and a belief that our young people deserve more.
