Interested in getting involved in local government? Want to see discussions with advocacy groups and council party representatives? Lambeth Citizens is an alliance of local institutions working together for the common good. They identify issues in the area that they want to change and make asks of local decision makers, spanning from health and housing, living wage, ESOL and building better futures for young people.

With local elections in May, Citizens have invited representatives from Labour, the Green Party and the Lib Dems for the upcoming assembly. Join us as we seek to build a public, accountable relationship with the next Council.

You can also take part in the assembly with a stewarding role. This will involve welcoming people on the night and showing them around - a great chance to speak to local organisations!

When: 28th April
Time: 6pm - 7:30pm

Everything you share will be taken straight to the Lambeth Council Meeting, where our local community’s concerns, including students’, are raised with councillors and the mayor to help shape local decisions. This is a real way for students to be involved in what happens in our community.

💪 K4C is back and more ambitious as ever. In order to pursue our main goal - to help you voice important issues that are close to your heart - we need 50 upvotes!

⭐️ Any donation, big or small, will help Community Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers (CARAS) to pursue their goals. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with them on this.
