Heba Mustafa (MSc Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy and Programming, 2025) shares reflections from her MSc research on menstrual health in humanitarian settings and why dignity, safety and lived experience must be at the heart of crisis responses.

Her blog explores the gaps between what is provided and what women and girls actually need, highlighting the importance of coordination, cultural understanding and equity in public health.

🎭 Ever wondered whether research can be taught through theatre?

In our latest London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine alumni blog, Dr Sam Marconi David (MSc DL Epidemiology, 2023) explores this intriguing question and shares how he turned the idea into reality. By bringing together research, creativity and performance, he discovered new ways to engage audiences and communicate complex scientific concepts beyond the traditional classroom.
