We dropped in at the Wandsworth Sustainability Network to talk about the .

Plastic is harming our health, and the environment. We’re all doing our bit to recycle, but our recycling systems can’t cope - there’s simply too much plastic. This year, governments around the world are negotiating a UN Global Plastics Treaty, which could end the age of plastics.

We’re asking people to join The Big Plastic Count, to help build even more evidence about how much plastic the UK uses, and what really happens to it. Follow the link in bio to find out more 💚

What a year 2025 was for our local south west London Greenpeace group! Thank you to our brilliant volunteers who do so much to defend the natural world from destruction. A few of our highlights…

💚 We had a great turn out at the “Buy Now” film night in February
💚 We participated in the Mass Lobby in July, targeting our local MPs

Profit-hungry gas companies have got Britain in a chokehold. They’re ripping us off, while our bills go up, our pubs close down and our high streets hang on by a thread.

This week Greenpeace activists took to the streets to make it clear that we will not sit idly by while gas companies line their pockets at the expense of the British people.

Don’t be mugged off. Stop the ✋

We were out with and other local groups today at Herne Hill market. We were chatting to the public about the 🔥

Why? Our bills are sky-high while gas companies rake in record profits. It doesn’t have to be this way. Together we can stop the Great Gas Rip-Off. Find out more by following the link in our bio and get involved!

Last weekend we teamed up with the wonderful group at Herne Hill farmers’ market. It was a great day, helped by the fact the weather was a little better than the rest of this week 🤣

We were chatting to people about two topics:
🖊️ asking them to sign the petition
❓ from a wheel of choices, asking people to identify the environmental issue of most concern to them. This will be used when meet Helen Hayes MP, to highlight which issues concern her constituents.
