The aim is to buy land with buildings (farm or estate) with at least 70 acres, ideally with a mix of fields and woodland in the north east or north yorkshire region. To be as self-suffiecient as possible with an eventual aim to be off grid

To live in a supportive community where we all play our part according to skills and ability, everyone will play an active part in the community work

The aim

would be to have some communal areas but also everyone will have their own private space, with no obligation to indulge in communal activities apart from the set work (I say this as some communities completely live on top of each other and i believe in private space if ya need it)

Growing vegetables, having some animals such as goats/dairy cows for milk, hens for eggs

With a mix of people welcome, meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans, no particualr diet or lifestyle groupmg and we respect each others lifestyle
