In our prayers this week will be praying for the families and children of prisoners.
We know having a loved one in prison can be an extremely challenging experience, especially for children. Children are often serving their own hidden sentence when their mum or dad are in prison.
Please join us as we pray throughout the week for the families and children of those in prison.

Each week in Lent, we are going to pray for a particularly group of people in the Criminal Justice System.
This week, we are going to pray for all those in prison.
Please do join us in prayer this week. We're going to start with sharing Archbishop Richard Moth's prayer that he wrote for Pact a few years ago.
Let us remember those who are currently in prison throughout this week.

Today is Ash Wednesday. For the next six weeks, we journey together to prepare for Lent.

In this time of waiting, we remember all those who are waiting including prisoners and their families.
We pray, we give and we put our faith into action.
This week, please do consider donating to our Lent Appeal 'You will be with me in paradise' as we remember the love and mercy Jesus showed on the cross and how we can reflect that love and mercy in the world.

We’ve got big news.

🎤 Paul Whitehouse and Friends All-Star Comedy Gala
✨ At the London Palladium, in aid of Pact
đź“… 30 March

On 30 March, we’re hosting Paul Whitehouse and Friends, an All-Star Comedy Gala at the London Palladium!

Lineup: Alfie Boe, Simon Day, Jocelyn Jee Esien, Charlie Higson, Jason Manford, John Thomson, Arabella Weir, and Paul Whitehouse, all hosted by Mel Giedroyc.

Every ticket sold supports our work. This is a huge opportunity for the charity to raise vital funds to help us do even more for people in prison and their families. It’s also a chance to raise awareness of Pact’s work to support a group of people who are so often forgotten.

We would love to see you there – or if you can’t make it, what about sharing this with the comedy fans in our life, or even buying them a ticket for Christmas?

👉 Tickets go on sale tomorrow (11 Dec). Don’t miss out! https://pact1.link/ComedyGala2026

✨ We’re thrilled to share that thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised over £14,500 in online donations since Tuesday — matched and doubled to an incredible £29,000!

Your support makes Pact’s vital work possible. To give you just a snapshot of what that means, one dad at a family day last month told us:

“The normal visits are so sad for the kids – today we had laughter. It felt like a normal day together as a family.” 💜

We still have £19,000 in match funds remaining — but only until 12 noon, Tuesday 9 December. Every pound you give is doubled!

👉 GIVE NOW and help us do more for families affected by imprisonment: pact1.link/BigGive2025

For one week only, every donation to Pact will be DOUBLED up to a total of ÂŁ32.5k thanks to the Big Give campaign. When you give now, your money will do twice as much to fund our vital work.

Your generosity helps Pact to deliver a wide range of services, including...

👨👧 Family days that bring joy and connection for children and their parent in prison

❤️🩹 Innovative healthcare programmes involving families in the care of vulnerable prisoners

🤲 Dedicated social workers in women’s prisons to help rebuild family life before and after release

When a person is sent to prison their whole family receives a sentence. Your donation changes lives on both sides of prison walls.

Donate before 12 noon on 9 December to make twice the difference: https://pact1.link/BigGive2025
