If you fancy having a go at designing a set for a production, or you would just like to explore the principles of set design, this masterclass, led by Helen Mason, is for you!
Helen will share the principles of set design. This masterclass will give you the chance to design and share a stage set concept for your favourite play.
Come along with a play in mind. (There’s no need for the script if you can remember the play well).
Helen is an actor/director/designer with over 25 years experience of designing sets for amateur, community and fringe theatre. Trained in theatre design (London Theatre Museum) and interior design (Morley College), her set designs include staging for Harvey, Humble Boy, Pack of Lies, Restoration, Filumena, Yerma, The Clink, Breaking the Code and Blithe Spirit.
Bring your on-stage, off- stage and audience experience to this event for a fun evening with a practical result.
