VJ DAY — 15TH AUGUST 🇬🇧

Today we remember and honour all those who served and sacrificed during the Second World War in the Far East.

On 15th August 1945, Victory over Japan was announced, bringing an end to the Second World War.

We remember the bravery, courage and sacrifice of our servicemen and women, including the many who endured captivity, hardship and unimaginable conditions.

Today, we pause to remember them all and the families who carried their loss.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET. ❤️🌺

Wishing a very happy 13th birthday to His Royal Highness Prince George of Wales 🎈🎂

Prince George is officially a teenager! 🎉💙

The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a new portrait of their eldest son to mark his 13th birthday. The photograph, taken by Matt Porteous at Kensington Palace after Trooping the Colour last month, shows Prince George looking elegant in a navy suit.

This moment marks the beginning of a new chapter for George, who will start at Eton College this autumn, following in the footsteps of his father, Prince William. They grow up so fast!
