Time to talk day takes place on 05 February 2026.

Time to talk day is designed to spark conversations about mental health nationally. Every year Mind and Rethink Mental Illness run Time to talk day to promote mental health awareness. It is a day aimed at reducing mental health stigma by encouraging open dialogues throughout all walks of life, including our schools, workplaces, communities, and homes.

Join our hybrid event to address the factors contributing to poor mental health with young people.

Healthwatch Kensington & Chelsea, Healthwatch Westminster and Strengthening Kensington Youth Families (SKYF) are collaborating on a joint project that follows on from the Young People’s Mental Health work we carried out in 2023.

This year’s project aims to co-produce healthy, preventive measures that address the key factors contributing to poor mental health, as highlighted in our 2023 report, and to support prevention among young people aged 18-25 years.

There will be a raffle and one participant from each borough will win a £50 Love2Shop voucher as a Thank You for volunteering their time.

You will also get a chance to gain:

- Free CBT Motorbike licence

- Gym Passes with Everyone Active

4 February 2026 marks the annual World Cancer Day, led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).

The World Cancer Day theme for 2025 to 2027 is 'United by Unique'. Building on the foundation laid in 2025, the campaign in 2026 will focus on transforming these personal stories shared from the public, into powerful advocacy tools.

Healthwatch Westminster and Healthwatch RBKC are working with voluntary, community, and faith organisations to develop a Bi-Borough VCS Mental Health Strategy for Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.

We invite residents, community members, and people with lived experience to share their perspectives through our survey. Your feedback will help identify gaps, remove barriers, and guide practical actions that can make a real difference to mental health support locally.
