Very excited that the next In Conversation zoom event will star Alicia Graf Mack.

Alicia is the Artistic Director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She joins us ahead of their forthcoming performances in London at Sadler's Wells.

American dancer Alicia began her career with Dance Theatre of Harlem under the direction of Arthur Mitchell, rising to become principal ballerina.

She was a star performer with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater from 2005 to 2014, and has collaborated with artists including Beyoncé, John Legend, Andre 3000, Alicia Keys, and Jon Batiste.

There will be time for questions, so please join us to hear first-hand about her amazing career and current role.

🎉 Save the Date for a special live event: Mime in Motion.

This collaboration between the London Ballet Circle and GradPro - Your Next Step celebrates the expressive art of mime, exploring its place within the traditions of classical ballet while looking towards its future.

Many balletomanes have expressed interest in this fascinating topic. GradPro dancers will be coached in mime excerpts from Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty, by international artists Zenaida Yanowsky, Ivan Putrov, Daria Stanciulescu and Alex Harrison.

Everyone is welcome to join. For those unable to attend in person in London at The Royal Ballet School, there is a zoom option.

The LBC is a 100% Volunteer-powered charity.

We are currently looking for new Volunteers to help with the technical aspects of LBC operations.

• Webinar Support:
Help run our Zoom series of renowned In Conversation talks

• IT Support:
Use your IT skills to help with the technical aspects of LBC operations

The IT Support role supports the existing IT administrator to keep the LBC website up to date, add news and event reports written by other Trustees, post videos from our online Zoom talks, maintain LBC Google services, help with our financial database system, and host Zoom meetings.

Don’t worry if you’re not an IT expert! Our systems are currently maintained by Trustees, and thus training and support will be provided. We’re simply looking for someone who is comfortable with technology, willing to learn, and happy to lend a hand. You’ll also need to be an LBC Member (or be willing to join), aged 18 or over, and live in the UK.
