Nafsiyat stands firmly against racial disparities in all aspects of healthcare.

The latest MBRRACE-UK report reveals extreme ethnic inequalities in perinatal care, with a significantly higher risk of stillbirth and neonatal death for Black and Asian infants.

In the same way we must address mental healthcare disparities between ethnic groups, we must address these disparities with urgency and advocate for an equitable healthcare system for all mothers and babies.

2024- menstrual health is being taken seriously, women’s health champions and hubs nationwide, £50 million for research to tackle maternity disparities. After decades of silencing, eras of shaming, it may take a bit of practice to build the clarity and confidence for those medical conversations

Problem periods, women’s health research and support for domestic and sexual abuse victims are among the government’s priorities.
